About the Course

This age-appropriate course introduces children to the fundamentals of firearm safety in a calm, educational, and engaging environment. The focus is on helping young learners understand what to do if they encounter a firearm, emphasizing safety, respect, and responsible behavior—whether or not there are firearms in the home.


What They’ll Learn
  • What to do if they find a firearm (Stop. Don’t Touch. Run Away. Tell an Adult.)

  • How to identify safe vs. unsafe behavior around firearms

  • The difference between real guns and toy guns

  • Basic rules for safe firearm storage in homes with children


Who This Course Is For
  • Children ages 5 and older (with age-specific curriculum)

  • Families who own firearms or want to educate their kids on firearm safety

  • Parents seeking a proactive, non-political approach to gun safety education


Course Goals

By the end of this course, children will:

  • Understand basic firearm safety rules in a memorable and age-appropriate way

  • Learn how to respond safely if they encounter a firearm

  • Gain awareness and confidence in making safe choices around firearms


Please Note:This course does not include any handling or operation of real firearms. It is a safety and awareness class only. Parents or guardians are required to remain on-site for the duration of the course.
